____________________________________________________________________________________ Hello everybody, I am so glad that Angie is doing this. I have been thinking about a lot of you and am excited to hear from you. We have made a big move since I last wrote. We now live in Salt Lake City, Utah. We actually are living in Taylorsville for the time being. My husbands parents are on a mission in South Africa, so we are staying in their home here until they return. We really loved Cedar City, but have been trying to get a little closer to my family. We have really loved it here so far. There is so much to do and we have seen more family than we ever did in Cedar. I have three kids now. Isaac is 6 years old and is in Kindergarten. Ella is three and Caleb is 15 months. Three has been a whole new world for me. I feel really busy now and sometimes it is hard to give each one the attention they want. My kids are wonderful though and have great personalities. Ella is my easiest, and wants to please. Isaac is so smart and a real tease, and Caleb is really loud so he can be heard over the other two. I feel really blessed they are mine. I am working a little. I work one day a week for Dr. Brandon Robinson in South Jordan. I really enjoy that one day! It is a great break from my kids and I love talking with adults for a day. He is a young dentist and is just getting the hygiene department going. This is the first job where I had a few demands before I started. I knew what I wanted to get paid and I knew what tools and instruments I needed him to order if he wanted me to work there. He said he wanted me to set up the hygiene program to where it needs to be. The challenge is when you work only one day a week, you are changing things that the other hygienist may not want changed. The other hygienist is a newer hygienist, but seems very nice. I think it is a little hard for her though. The more I do hygiene, the more I realize the importance of doing all the things I learned in school even though sometimes it may seem overkill. I have ordered Arrestin for the office and have started to use that on every 5 or 6mm pocket that the pt will let me. I have seen great results. It is fun to see all the new products and options we have out there. My next goal is to get him to get Oraquix. I used that in my last office, AWESOME!! I will never regret going to school for this profession. It has been really rewarding for me and so great that I can work just one day. I look forward to going to work and by the end of the day am glad that I don't have to go back the next day. Adam is a prosecutor for West Jordan City. He likes his job fairly well. It is sometimes hard to deal with the negative things he has too, but it is great for now. He is such a great husband. Seriously I won the lottery with him. We are trying to sell a home in Cedar City still. That has been really hard with the market, but we are hoping to have it done before his parents come home, so we can buy a home here. I think Salt Lake will be our home for long term. I love that I am a little closer to home. I don't have a blog yet, but I have some pictures on FaceBook if you want to check that out. I will attach a couple so you can see our family. The last one is of Caleb. He poured a bowl of pudding on his head. Just a typical day. I would love to get together and see all of you. I consider you all my close friends. There are only those who suffered with me that really understand what I went through in school. It is a bond we will always have. Hopefully I will see you soon. Love, Denise Christian
