Hello everyone!
Wow...I can't wait to catch up with all of you. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life. As most of you know, Nate and I moved back to Reno as soon as we graduated, and we are still here. It is wonderful to be close to family, as mine lives here, and Nate's family lives in a community about an hour away. I am very happy to say hygiene is not the main focus in my life right now...I still love it, and am very thankful we have such a flexible and family-friendly profession. I still work for the same group of doctors that I did when we first came home. I worked full time (4 days) until two years ago when our first son Jacob was born. He is such a joy and keeps us laughing all the time! He amazes us everyday with his sweet personality and great sense of humor. I went back to work two days a week, and we were lucky enough to have my parents watch Jake. Our second son was born on March 6, 2008. Wade is such a gentle little spirit. He just started smiling a ton, and cooing all the time. It has been fun to watch the boys really starting to interact. I am so bummed that my maternity leave is quickly coming to an end. I am supposed to go back in the middle of June. Nate and I are still trying to adjust to keeping up with an energetic two year old, and the sleepless nights with a newborn. I love it though, I wouldn't change it for the world! I'm chicken-pecking this email with one hand, and holding the baby in the other. I'm getting good doing all sorts of things with one hand:)
When I was talking to Angie, she mentioned our class video.......I am embarresed to tell you it is packed in a box somewhere in my garage and I need to find it. Eventually, hopefully before we all retire, I will get it to you. Sorry!
Darrin- Nate and I went to Nebraska last year to visit my cousin, who's husband will graduate next year from Creighton's dental school. Anyway, he was showing us around, and I found your picture on the wall of graduate's. Congratulations! We had a lot of fun while we were there.
Well, it is getting late here, and I treasure any bit of sleep I can get right now. I hope this finds everyone healthy and happy. If anyone is headed in this direction, or even passing through, we would love to see and hear from you. Our doors are always open to you. Here is all of my information to get in touch with me. I'm not great with email, but I'm trying to get better.
